Summary:.
Na férias de verão o calouro de faculdade Lewis Thomas (Paul Walker) está pronto para embarcar numa viagem de carro pelos Estados Unidos com a garota dos seus sonhos, Venna (Leelee Sobieski). Mas os seus planos românticos se alteram quando ele resgata o seu irmão mais velho, Fuller (Steve Zahn). Conhecido por causar problemas, Fuller acaba envolvendo Lewis numa brincadeira com um motorista solitário de caminhão através do radioamador.
